“But still try, for who knows what is possible.”  Michael Faraday

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department aims to become a center of excellence in education and research with its internationally experienced faculty members.

A unique curriculum and education environment has been created to make our students:

  • more competent in natural sciences,

  • more knowledgeable not only in the field of EEE but also in other areas, and

  • more capable of self-guiding through their careers.

Our students participate research projects from their first years and gain experiences in various fields such as management and budget preparation within student organizations.

Our research focuses on currently fast growing fields including nanotechnology, information and communication technology, biotechnology, display technology, power electronics, laser systems, control and automation, image processing and microwave systems, of which results are published in prestigious journals. In technopark, companies are established based on research results that are potential to become commercial products, beneficial for the entire society.
